Celebrate the essence of the arts in Mississippi with a journey through 200 years of the development of the Magnolia State! This track centers on two Mississippi Arts Commission curricula: 1) Mississippi History Through the Arts: A Bicentennial Journey, and 2) Mississippi Blues Trail and Beyond. Explore artistically colorful lesson plans applicable for presentation to Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced students that combine MS College-and-Career Readiness Standards for English-Language Arts (ELA), History, Visual Art, Music, Dance, and Theatre. Enjoy collaborative learning and creating art along the way!
